How to Create the Perfect Hivefirm Blog Post: The Complete A to Z Guide.

Hivefirm now has over 2.23 million monthly visitors. And as small business owners and brand managers, there’s a very good chance you’ll be able to reach and connect with your target audience through Hivefirm blog.

Great! So where should you start? And is there an easy blueprint to follow?. 

From creating Hivefirm Publisher Page to posting several hundred times over the past few years, we’ve experimented a lot with various Hivefirm Publishing tips and have enjoyed figuring out the best way to create and manage Hivefirm Blog Post. I’d love to share with you how the process has worked so far from start until now!. 

Here’s a pro tips and things to fill out:

“Profile Photo” and “Page Info”. 

How to create a Hivefirm Publisher page and blog post in 3 simple steps. 

Step 1: Add a profile photo. 

Hivefirm  will prompt you to upload a profile photo.

This photo will appear on all your publications on Hivefirm. Ideally, you want to upload your company logo as a profile picture.

The ideal size for profile photo is 256px by 256px or in a 1:1 aspect ratio in either .jpg or .png format.

Step 2: Fill out your basic personal info. 

Once there, you’ll see options — “name, email, position, country, about you and password.

Keep in mind that you can make changes when you go to settings (but not the email) later on if needed.

Once done click on continue.

Step 3: Create a Publication. 

Right in the middle of create new article, here are things to note while creating your publication.

Upload a cover photo – 820 x 462 pixels. 

The cover photo appears across the top of your page and is a great opportunity to deliver a visual element that supports your branding, draws attention, or elicits emotion from your visitors.

The ideal size for Hivefirm cover photo is 820 pixels wide by 462 pixels tall.

According to Hivefirm, your cover photo is displayed at different sizes on desktops and on smartphones — 820 pixels wide by 312 pixels tall on desktops and 640 pixels wide by 360 pixels tall on smartphones. If you want to use a single image that works pretty well on both desktop and mobile, I found that 820 pixels wide by 462 pixels tall seems to be the best.

Post Title – Choose a title that best describe your content; this will appear across all search engine “Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc”. This will help people find your contents. 90 characters max.

Description – Let people know what your publication is all about in 158 characters max.

Articles – must be at least 500 words and it can includes; 

1. Contact information – If you have a business phone number, website, and email address, add them here.

2. Location – If you have a physical store, share your address.

3. Hours – If you are only open on selected hours, state them.

4. More – You can even state a price range (if you want).

If you happen to upload an image that isn’t quite cool, you can reposition the image to fit the available window.

When you’re happy with the final look, you can click “Submit” and you’ll be set!). 

And there you have it!

Your publication is up and ready to deliver awesome content to millions of visitors and grow into something wonderful.

 

What you should not post:

Generally Hivefirm do not accept news contents either globally or locally, overtly sexual material, pornographic, politics,  gossips or jokes contents.

Whatever stays on Hivefirm blog is solely for Educational/Informational Purpose only.

HERE are 4 things you should note if you want your article/contents to be approve/published on the hivefirm blog.

  1. Your title must be descriptive and better describe your contents.
  2. Your contents/article must be at least 500 words. 
  3. Duplicated article/contents is not allowed on the hivefirm blog, if you must duplicate, ensure you modify the article/contents appropriately.
  4. Your page must have your name and profile photo (either personal or company name and profile photo).
  5. You must fill in your position and about fields in your settings page.

Note: if your article/contents do meet our criteria it won't be approved and published on the Hivefirm Blog.
